The full-service international law firm headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Azmi & Associates is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Airene Ho Eu Ghee as Senior Counsel in its Corporate & Commercial Practice Group.
Airene Ho brings a wealth of experience spanning private practice and corporate leadership. She began her legal career after earning her LL.B (Hons) from the University of East London and being admitted to the Malaysian Bar. She has handled a broad range of corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and litigation matters, including notable advisory work during the 1997–2000 economic crisis for Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad.
In her extensive in-house career, Airene has served as General Counsel and Head of Legal across the real estate and life sciences sectors, overseeing cross-border transactions, regulatory advisory, dispute management, and the development of legal and compliance frameworks. She has also led sustainability-related initiatives, including work in the voluntary carbon market, and has successfully built global legal teams and structures in prior roles.
Airene Ho also holds an MBA from Keele University, is a certified Patent Agent, and a MIM Certified Professional in Intellectual Property Management (MIM-CPIPM).
