Clyde & Co appoints Olivia Darlington to expand its Middle East insurance practice

Clyde & Co has expanded its Middle East insurance practice with the appointment of financial lines insurance specialist, Olivia Darlington as a partner in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Darlington has broad expertise in contentious insurance matters. Specializing in professional indemnity, FI, D&O and cyber business lines, she advises on the defence of high-value claims against professional services firms, financial institutions and directors/officers, and complex coverage matters. She also has extensive experience in instances of cyber breaches.

Darlington’s experience spans the UK and the Middle East regions after moving to Dubai in 2019. She was earlier working at Simmons & Simmons as head of insurance for the Middle East & Africa, and Of Counsel for the firm’s dispute resolution – Insurance & Construction Group.
