Colby Jenkins Joins King & Spalding as Investment Funds Partner in Atlanta

King & Spalding has announced that Colby Jenkins has joined the firm as a partner in its Real Estate and Funds practice group, based in Atlanta. Colby’s addition strengthens the firm’s growing capabilities in fund formation and investment sector advisory.

Jenkins counsels clients on structuring, offering, and operating U.S. and offshore open-end, closed-end, and semi-liquid private investment funds, while advising on U.S. regulatory and compliance matters. He works with established and emerging fund sponsors and institutional, family office, and individual investors across diverse investment strategies, from traditional private equity to emerging alternative asset classes.

Colby joins the firm from Alston & Bird, where he was a partner. He holds a J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School, an M.B.A. from Yale University, and a B.A. from Duke University.
