Dan Marcus Joins King & Spalding as Partner in London Finance Practice

King & Spalding has announced the addition of Dan Marcus as a Partner in its Finance and Restructuring practice group. He joins the firm’s London office, further strengthening its structured finance capabilities across Europe and the U.K.

Dan Marcus is a seasoned structured finance lawyer with a strong track record advising clients on complex financing transactions, particularly at the intersection of securitisation and fund financing. His experience spans across asset-backed lending (ABLs), rated note feeders, CFOs, warehouse facilities, and other innovative finance products. Notably, Marcus advised on the first capital call facility in Europe to achieve securitisation regulatory treatment, positioning him as a key player in the evolution of modern fund finance structures.

He regularly represents banks, alternative lenders, and asset managers on bespoke and cross-border finance mandates.
