Eversheds Sutherland Elects Stephani Hildebrandt and Clay Howell to US Executive Committee

Eversheds Sutherland has announced the election of Stephani Hildebrandt and Clay Howell as new members of the firm’s US Executive Committee, further reinforcing its strategic leadership and commitment to client service and internal growth.

Stephani and Clay will join current committee members Michael Gurion, Stacey Kern, Sarah Paul, John Pruitt, Michael Sweeney, Jr., and Maria Todorova, along with Global Co-CEO and US Chief Executive Lino Mendiola and US Executive Partner Adam Cohen, to help guide the firm’s long-term vision and strategic priorities.

With over two decades of experience in the legal and energy sectors, Stephani Hildebrandt is a Partner at the firm and currently leads its Energy Regulatory team. She previously served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Southwestern Energy, and was also Chief Legal Officer at Archrock, Inc. Before her in-house roles, she was a partner at other leading law firms, advising on energy regulation, compliance, and corporate governance.

Clay Howell, also a Partner at the firm, has been with Eversheds Sutherland for nearly two decades and is based in the Atlanta office. His practice focuses on corporate and M&A transactions, particularly in the insurance and financial services sectors. Clay has led numerous complex deals and provides strategic counsel on regulatory and transactional matters to major insurance industry players.

The firm also expressed appreciation for outgoing committee members Olga Greenberg and Griff Griffin, recognizing their outstanding service and contributions over the past four years.
