Former Eversheds Sutherland Leader Walid Salib Moves to Hogan Lovells’ Riyadh Office as Partner
The global law firm Hogan Lovells has expanded its Corporate & Finance practice in Riyadh with the appointment of Walid Salib as Partner, effective 1 December 2025. Walid joins the global firm from Eversheds Sutherland, where he served as Head of M&A, Saudi Arabia, and previously held the same leadership role at Freshfields.
With more than 14 years of experience in the Middle East, Walid is a highly regarded corporate and M&A lawyer. He has an established track record advising private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and multinational corporations on complex, high-value mergers and acquisitions. His expertise spans public and private M&A, strategic joint ventures, corporate structuring and restructuring, capital markets-related M&A, and securing Saudi merger control clearances.
