Former Schneider Electric GC Kishore Shetty Joins GE HealthCare South Asia as General Counsel
GE HealthCare South Asia has appointed Kishore Shetty as its new General Counsel, further strengthening its regional leadership team. Shetty joins the organisation from Schneider Electric, where he served as Zone General Counsel for the Greater India Zone.
At Schneider Electric, Shetty headed the legal team for the Greater India Zone, overseeing EPC contracts, product contracts, and mergers & acquisitions. He managed corporate secretarial responsibilities, regional risk assessment, employment matters, and code of conduct compliance. He also supervised channel partner contracts, ensuring regulatory adherence and mitigating legal risks across operations.

With over 25 years of experience, Shetty has handled international EPC contracts, contract management, disputes, integrity compliance functions, and training initiatives. Prior to Schneider Electric, he worked with ABB AB as Legal Counsel for the Grid Systems AMEA Region in Sweden and India, managing international EPC contracts, disputes, and compliance matters. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at a law firm handling business, property, dispute resolution, and consumer law matters, and a Senior Associate at Anant Mandgi & Associates, where he represented clients before the High Court, civil courts, and tribunals.
Shetty holds an LL.B in Business Law from Bangalore University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Mangalore University.
His appointment underscores GE HealthCare South Asia’s focus on strengthening enterprise risk management, governance frameworks, and responsible growth as it advances precision care and healthcare innovation across the region.
