King & Wood Mallesons Strengthens Debt Capital Markets Practice with Partner Hire

Sino-Australian law firm King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has bolstered its debt capital markets team with the appointment of Andy Ferris as a partner in Singapore, joining from Hogan Lovells.

Ferris brings over two decades of experience in capital markets and structured finance, advising issuers, underwriters, and trustees on debt and equity-linked instruments across the Asia-Pacific region. His focus is on sustainable and social impact finance, with a particular emphasis on green bonds and social impact bonds.

His expertise includes managing Euro medium-term note (EMTN) programmes, executing structured finance transactions, and overseeing complex liability management operations. Ferris is experienced with both conventional and innovative financial instruments.

He joined Hogan Lovells in Hong Kong in 2014 and has had two stints at the legacy Allen & Overy, as well as experience at the former Mallesons Stephen Jaques.
