Kirkland & Ellis has appointed Marwa Elborai as a Partner in the Capital Markets Group in London.
The US-qualified lawyer focuses on high-yield bonds, complex corporate financings and leveraged finance transactions. She advises corporate, private equity, credit fund and financial institution clients across multiple jurisdictions. With an emphasis on U.S. federal securities laws, she also advises on general debt and equity capital markets transactions and debt restructurings.
Elborai worked with Shearman & Sterling for 16 years, after which she joined Allen & Overy, which is set for a merger with Shearman & Sterling.
