Lee & Ko Makes History with Appointment of First English Barrister to Partnership in South Korea
Ross Harman, a tax and corporate lawyer, has been appointed as a partner at Lee & Ko, becoming the first English barrister to hold such a position at a South Korean law firm.
After working as a tax consultant at Deloitte in London for three years, Harman relocated to Seoul to join Lee & Ko in 2019.
Harman has established himself as an expert in assisting international companies with establishing their operations in South Korea, providing them with a range of legal services to help set up and run their businesses. Additionally, a significant part of his practice involves helping Korean companies with their outbound work.
Notably, Harman has been elected as the auditor to the executive committee of the British Chamber of Commerce in Korea, adding to his achievements. He aims to leverage his expertise to aid British companies interested in doing business or already established in Korea.
