Mackenzie McNaughton Joins Jones Day as Of Counsel in Minneapolis Office

Jones Day has announced the appointment of Mackenzie McNaughton as Of Counsel in the Health Care & Life Sciences Practice at its Minneapolis office. McNaughton, a former Senior Technical Advisor for Exempt Organizations at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), brings 20 years of extensive experience working with health care entities and other tax-exempt organizations, both in private practice and government regulatory roles.

She most recently served at the IRS where she advised the Director of Exempt Organizations and Government Entities on day-to-day legal and technical matters impacting nonprofit organizations. Earlier in her tenure at the IRS, she played a key role as a Tax Law Specialist, providing compliance and implementation guidance under the Affordable Care Act.
