Norton Rose Fulbright Adds Trio of Projects & Construction Lawyers in Sydney
Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has welcomed three senior projects and construction lawyers in Sydney.
Glen Warwick returns to the firm as a senior projects and construction partner, while industry veteran and NRF alumnus David McElveney also returns as a senior consultant and Chloe Blackwell joins as a special counsel.
Glen began his career at Norton Rose Fulbright in 2004 and rose to the level of senior associate in the projects and construction team.
He has returned to the firm from Clyde & Co, where he held several domestic and global leadership roles, including head of projects and construction in Australia, chair and executive of global committees, and client relationship partner for several major clients. Over his career he has worked in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Perth and Sydney.
Glen advises Australian and international clients primarily in the infrastructure, energy and resources sectors. His specialization includes the project life cycle and he has extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts in Australia, the Middle East and Asia.
He is an experienced dispute resolution advisor on claims related to management, mediation, expert determination, litigation and International Chamber of Commerce international arbitrations. He also recently represented number of high-profile construction disputes and mining arbitrations in Western Australia.

Meanwhile, David also returned to Norton Rose Fulbright, having previously been a partner of its predecessor firm for a period of 10 years, heading the Sydney construction and engineering team.
In the projects industry, David brings more than 30 years’ experience as a construction law and international arbitration advisor. He has worked primarily in Australia and the Middle East. David joins as a senior consultant from Clyde & Co, where he served on the APAC board, was head of the Asia-Pacific projects and construction group, and also head of the group in Australia.
Chloe Blackwell joins the firm as a special counsel in the projects and construction team. She is an experienced construction lawyer who regularly acts on behalf of contractors in the infrastructure, energy and resources sectors, and has earned a reputation for being a talented and commercially astute practitioner who is equally adept in contentious and non-contentious matters.
Chloe worked at Clyde & Co for nearly 10 years and before that held various legal and commercial roles within Leighton Contractors (now CIMIC Group).
