Squire Patton Boggs has named partner Scott Kane as co-chair of the firm’s global Litigation Practice.

According to Global Managing Partner Michele Connell, Scott has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor to clients across the country who seek his counsel for high-stakes and sensitive disputes. His extensive experience and leadership make him a valuable addition to one of the firm’s largest practices as it pursues strategic growth.

Scott Kane represents a diverse range of clients, including corporate entities, financial institutions, Boards of Directors, committees, and public entities. His legal expertise extends to courts and arbitration proceedings across the United States. His clientele spans various industries, such as financial services, manufacturing, consumer products, private equity, technology, professional services, and design and construction. Additionally, Scott has significant experience representing debtors and creditors in disputed matters within large Chapter 11 cases and other bankruptcy-related litigation.

Before his current role, Scott served as the managing partner of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Prior to pursuing a legal career, he served in the United States Army.
