Taher Sabala brings a diverse background spanning private practice, judiciary, prosecution, and in-house roles. His experience includes prior roles as Corporate Counsel at Amazon, Chief Judge at the Egyptian Judiciary, and Senior Prosecutor at the Egyptian Public Prosecution, where he handled complex financial and commercial crimes, asset recovery matters, and regulatory investigations. Taher holds an LLM in International and Comparative Law from The American University in Cairo and an LLB from Cairo University.
Omar Elkhawas has steadily progressed within the firm, advising on corporate law, regulatory compliance, fintech, data privacy, M&A, and commercial matters. He has also undertaken secondments with Amazon in Cairo and Riyadh, further strengthening his cross-border regulatory and commercial advisory capabilities. Prior to joining the firm, Omar held roles at ALEXBANK and Savola Group. He holds an LLM from University of Hamburg, a Professional Master’s in Economics from Cairo University, and an LLB from Ain Shams University.
Nouran Gamal has been with Sharkawy & Sarhan Law Firm for over nine years, contributing significantly across dispute resolution and pro bono initiatives. She previously worked with ACSFT (Arab Council Supporting Fair Trial) on UNHCR-related legal assistance projects and has advised on a wide range of contentious and advisory matters.
