Stefan Mrozinski and Habeeb Rahman Join Paul Hastings as Partners in Abu Dhabi Office Expansion

Paul Hastings LLP has further strengthened its international Energy & Infrastructure platform with the appointment of Stefan Mrozinski and Habeeb Rahman as Partners in the firm’s Abu Dhabi office. Both join from White & Case LLP, becoming the latest additions to a growing team of seven partners hired since April 1, 2025, across Abu Dhabi, London, and Paris.

The expansion complements Paul Hastings’ leading U.S. project finance practice — ranked #1 in IJGlobal’s Q1 2025 North America Project Finance league tables — and enhances its global ability to support complex transactions involving M&A, joint ventures, project development, non-recourse financings, and restructurings.

Stefan Mrozinski brings extensive experience advising corporates, sovereign wealth funds, government entities, private equity firms, and family offices on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and governance. He has a strong track record across energy, power, natural resources, tech, and infrastructure, with a focus on data centers and telecoms. Stefan is ranked Band 1 in Chambers and has been consistently recognized by Legal 500 as a “Next Generation Partner.” He was also shortlisted for Legal 500 Middle East and North Africa’s “Next Generation Partner of the Year” (2024).

Habeeb Rahman specializes in project development and construction in the energy, oil and gas, petrochemicals, and infrastructure sectors. He advises project sponsors, lenders, and financial investors on procurement strategies, engineering and construction contracts, O&M agreements, and technology licensing. He is recognized by Legal 500 as a “Rising Star” and was named “Rising Star of the Year: Construction – Middle East and North Africa” in 2024.
