The highly-regarded Malaysian law firm based in Kuala Lumpur, Steven Thiru, Advocates & Solicitors, is pleased to announce that Jen Hui Chong has been admitted as a Partner of the Firm, effective 1 January 2026.
Jen Hui Chong’s practice focuses on civil and corporate litigation, administrative and constitutional law, and employment law. She has represented clients across all levels of the Malaysian judiciary and has acted for clients in sectors including banking and finance, energy and utilities, real estate, registered associations, and government agencies.
Jen began her legal career in 2019 as a pupil under the guidance of Managing Partner Steven Thiru. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from Cardiff University and has gained diverse experience through internships and mini pupillages with prominent legal institutions in Malaysia and the UK, including UNHCR Malaysia, Lawyers for Liberty, and 9 St. John Street Chambers.
