The global law firm Gibson Dunn has hired Waleed Rasrommani from Linklaters to strengthen its presence in Riyadh, as the firm continues to expand its capabilities in Saudi Arabia. Rasrommani, a corporate and M&A partner, brings extensive experience advising on complex transactions across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, with a particular focus on the energy, infrastructure, and private capital sectors.
Rasrommani began his career at Linklaters as a trainee solicitor in 2003 and spent over two decades with the firm, rising through the ranks to become its National Managing Partner for Saudi Arabia in 2023. During his tenure, he advised leading clients on high-profile transactions and played a key role in developing the firm’s corporate practice in the Kingdom.

Experience
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Rasrommani served as National Managing Partner for Saudi Arabia at Linklaters since May 2023. Earlier, he was a Partner at the firm from May 2021 to May 2023 and Counsel, Head of Corporate – Saudi Arabia from May 2020 to May 2021. Before entering legal practice, he held roles including Correspondent at The Daily News Egypt, Relationship Manager at Gulf International Bank in Bahrain, Software Engineer at FCW Consulting in California, and Consultant at PwC in Bahrain.Education
Rasrommani holds a Master of Arts in Law from University of Bristol Law School (2006–2008) and completed the Legal Practice Course at College of Law (2008–2009), both with Distinction.
