Khaitan & Co has announced the joining of Anshuman Mozumdar as a partner in the corporate commercial practice at the firm's Mumbai office.
With over 11 years of experience in corporate and commercial laws, Mozumdar specializes in private equity and mergers and acquisitions, including minority investments, buyouts, platform deals and cross border M&A, and joint ventures. He focuses on sectors including pharmaceutical, manufacturing, industrial, food and beverage, retail, and financial services.
On his joining, Amar Sinhji, the executive director of human resources at Khaitan & Co, remarked, "Mozumdar will be a valuable addition to our firm in helping further strengthen our private equity and mergers and acquisitions practice. We are delighted to have him on board."
A 2011 graduate of the National Law University, Jodhpur, Mozumdar worked at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India, rising from an associate to partner within 11 years.
