Divya Thakur and Pardeep Singh Khosa join Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP as Partners in Singapore

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius has added two Partners – Divya Thakur and Pardeep Singh Khosa as Partners in the Singapore office.

With over 15 years of broad-based industry experience representing institutional investors and managers with particular focus on Southeast Asia and India, Divya has expertise in advising clients on operational, management, and compliance issues relevant for both advisers and the funds they manage.

She was most recently working as a senior counsel at Akin Gump which she joined in 2013. At Morgan Lewis, she will lead the firm's investment management practice in Singapore. She has experience advising both fund sponsors and managers in the formation of investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, and other structured fund products. Earlier in her career, Divya has worked at Drew & Napier LLC as also Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co.

Meanwhile, Pardeep Singh Khosa specializes in commercial litigation, international arbitration, and corporate crime and investigations. He represents companies, high-net-worth individuals, governments, and statutory boards before Singapore courts and arbitration organizations on multijurisdictional disputes in sectors such as financial services, energy, construction, engineering, and infrastructure. He also advises on claims involving fraud, investigations, regulatory and criminal issues.

Khosa, who was at Drew & Napier for more than a decade, joined Davinder Singh Chambers LLC as a Director. He specializes in dispute resolution and focus on commercial and civil litigation, international arbitration, and corporate crime and investigations.

Khosa has advised and acted for high-profile clients including governments, statutory boards, listed companies, and high net-worth individuals in high-value, complex, and multijurisdictional disputes across a spectrum of areas, including construction, engineering, infrastructure, shipping, oil and gas, and civil fraud. He has experience of handling corporate/shareholder disputes and cases involving disputes relating to banking and financial services, professional negligence, public and administrative law, and employment law.

Khosa regularly appears before the Singapore courts and has been involved in international arbitrations under various institutional arbitration regimes, including the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
