The global law firm Dentons, through its Indian presence Dentons Link Legal, has further strengthened its Corporate practice with the addition of Ananda Malhotra Martin as Partner in its Delhi office. Formerly a Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, Ananda’s appointment reinforces the Firm’s focus on expanding its capabilities in regulated and innovation-driven sectors. Her practice will primarily focus on Healthcare and Life Sciences and IT/ITES, two key growth areas for the Firm.
Ananda Malhotra Martin is a senior corporate lawyer with over 17 years of post-qualification experience, advising on complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and corporate restructurings. She is widely recognised for her ability to structure and execute transactions in highly regulated sectors, particularly pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare services, technology, and technology-enabled businesses.
In addition to her core sectoral focus, Ananda has advised clients across a broad range of industries, including energy, financial services, electric vehicles, media and entertainment, and mining, bringing a strong commercial perspective to her transactional work.
Prior to joining Dentons Link Legal, Ananda was a Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, where she advised multinational corporations, Indian corporates, investment funds, and wealth platforms on high-value and strategically significant transactions. Her experience includes overall deal management, transaction structuring, foreign direct investment advisory, and navigating complex regulatory and compliance frameworks, particularly within the healthcare, life sciences, and technology sectors.
