JioSaavn Appoints Oindrila M As Vice President Of Legal & Business Affairs

JioSaavn has appointed Oindrila M as its new Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs. Oindrila, who has been an integral part of the company for the past six years, previously held the role of Head of Legal & Business Affairs, where she provided strategic legal counsel and led a team of lawyers.

In her new role, Oindrila will continue to oversee and guide the company's legal and business operations. She has been instrumental in driving JioSaavn’s legal strategies, focusing on licensing, data privacy, compliance, risk management, and corporate governance.

Oindrila brings with her a wealth of experience, having worked in prominent legal positions across the entertainment and digital industries. Prior to JioSaavn, she served as Deputy General Manager - Business Affairs at Sony Music Entertainment, where she negotiated and structured music contracts. She also worked at Reliance Entertainment as Deputy General Manager-Legal, where she managed legal functions related to digital content acquisition, film distribution, and music contracts.

Oindrila’s career began at Economic Laws Practice as an Associate, followed by a role as Legal Associate at Paras Kuhad and Associates in Mumbai. Her extensive experience in corporate law and business affairs has significantly contributed to her success in these positions.

Oindrila holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from ILS Law College and has earned a Diploma in Consumer Protection Laws and Corporate Laws from the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Pune.
