Prasad Subramanyan has appointed as a General Counsel by Matrix Partners India.
Prasad specializes in handling complex cross-border transactions with a special focus on exchange control compliance and advising on structuring governance in early to mid-stage venture capital/private equity-funded companies.
His experience lies in structuring, setting up, and executing India and offshore private equity and venture capital funds, and procuring relevant registration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
A 2012 graduate of the Christ University, Bangalore, Prasad has worked with some leading law firms including Nishith Desai Associates and Khaitan & Co. Associated with Rajaram Legal for six years, for the past four years he held the position of a partner.
