Meesho announces promotion of Nikita Pareek as Director – Legal
The e-commerce major Meesho has announced the elevation of Nikita Pareek to the position of Director – Legal, recognizing her significant contributions to the company’s legal and compliance function.
Confirming her promotion, Pareek shared on LinkedIn,
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director – Legal at Meesho!”
Pareek joined Meesho in June 2022 as Senior Manager – Legal and has steadily progressed within the organization. She was elevated to Associate Director – Legal in January 2024, and after two years in the role, has now been promoted to Director – Legal effective January 2026.
A legal professional with over a decade of in-house experience, Pareek has built a strong reputation in the technology and start-up ecosystem. Her expertise spans corporate law, commercial contracts, strategic advisory, intellectual property, FEMA compliance, content acquisition, payment systems, and regulatory matters.
Before joining Meesho, Pareek served as Senior Member – Legal at EdgeVerve (an Infosys company) from 2020 to 2022, where she handled multi-jurisdictional commercial contracts, software licensing, SaaS agreements, and strategic technology transactions. Prior to that, she was associated with Cure.Fit as Legal Counsel, playing a key role in business launches and fundraising initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Pareek spent nearly four years at Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd), where she worked across various capacities, including Assistant Manager – Legal. At Ola, she was instrumental in advising on international market entries, strategic initiatives, GDPR compliance, and cross-border contract negotiations.
An alumna of School of Law, Christ University, Pareek completed her LL.B. in 2015 and began her career in the dynamic in-house legal space, gaining rich experience across some of India’s most prominent technology-driven organizations.
With this promotion, Pareek will now play a more strategic leadership role at Meesho, overseeing complex legal, regulatory, and governance matters as the company continues its rapid expansion in India’s competitive e-commerce landscape.
