Sony Counsel Rahul Mehta Joins ANM Global as Partner in Media & Entertainment Practice

Rahul Mehta, former Lead Sony Counsel, has joined ANM Global as a Partner in the Media and Entertainment Practice of the firm.

He is a graduate of the prestigious Kings College London in 2007 and further holds an LLM in IPR in 2008 from The University of Manchester.

With over 15 years of experience in the media and entertainment space, Mehta has appeared on behalf of several A-list clients on various complex transactions and contentious matters. With his expertise in high-level, sophisticated rights acquisition and development, talent, co-production, and licensing deals, his practice focuses in the areas of entertainment and media law and legal affairs in television, motion pictures, and digital media.

Previously, Mehta has worked for Singhania & Co, Zapak Digital Entertainment, Balaji Motion Pictures, Naik Naik & Co, and Zee Entertainment as well as other companies.

In addition to having served as the Lead Counsel at Sony Pictures Networks India for over a year before joining ANM Global, Mehta has also practiced independently for a short period of time before joining the company.
