The leading law firm in India, Trilegal advised Körber Group on its acquisition of a 49% equity stake held by Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited in Godrej Körber Supply Chain Limited.
Körber Group, an international technology group with global operations in integrated supply chain solutions, automation, software, and robotics, has now acquired 100% ownership of Godrej Körber Supply Chain Limited. The acquisition fully integrates the company into Körber’s global supply chain business, further strengthening its presence in India. The deal highlights Körber’s long-term strategic commitment to India as a key growth market and a platform for expanding its global supply chain operations. By integrating the Indian business into its global network, Körber aims to accelerate the adoption of advanced automation, software-driven logistics, and intralogistics solutions across sectors such as e-commerce, manufacturing, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals, supporting the modernisation and efficiency of India’s supply chain ecosystem.
Trilegal’s scope of work included transaction-related advice covering corporate, foreign exchange, and competition aspects; reviewing, negotiating, and finalising the share purchase agreement; and assisting in the closing of the transaction.
