The major global law firm, Eversheds Sutherland, has appointed Simon Arlington as a partner in its Corporate Finance practice at the London office, reinforcing the firm’s global growth ambitions and expanding its Tech M&A and investment capabilities. Arlington joins from U.S. firm Morrison & Foerster, bringing extensive expertise in complex tech-driven cross-border transactions across the U.S. and Asia.
Simon trained at Clifford Chance and held roles at BCLP and Jones Day before joining Morrison & Foerster in 2018. He has developed a strong reputation for advising on complex fintech and life sciences transactions, corporate investments, private equity deals, joint ventures, due diligence, corporate governance, portfolio company transactions, complex carve-outs, and incentive schemes.
