Leslie's Inc., the largest and most trusted direct-to-consumer US brand in the pool and spa-care industry, has appointed Benjamin Lindquist as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.

He succeeds Brad Gazaway, who, citing personal reasons, is stepping down as chief legal, real estate and sustainability officer and corporate secretary, effective 16 April. However, to facilitate a smooth transition, he will serve as a special advisor to the CEO until 31 December.

Lindquist has been a member of Leslie's legal department since joining the company in 2013. He has served in various roles of increasing responsibility, including most recently as vice president and associate general counsel.

He holds a JD (NASDAQ) from the University of San Diego School of Law and a B.S. in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Utah.

Speaking on the elevation, Mike Egeck, the chief executive officer acknowledged Lindquist’s legal and business acumen during his 10 years of experience at the company.

Egeck added, “I look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role as general counsel and as part of Leslie's leadership team. I am also grateful to Gazaway for his partnership and contributions to the company and wish him the best in his next chapter.”

Lindquist expressed, “I'm honored to take on the general counsel’s role and am excited to work closely with Egeck and the leadership team as we continue executing our strategic initiatives to drive long-term profitable growth.”

Founded in 1963, Leslie's serves the aftermarket needs of residential and professional consumers with an extensive and largely exclusive assortment of essential pool and spa care products. It operates an integrated ecosystem of over 1,000 physical locations and a robust digital platform, enabling consumers to engage with the company for shopping.

The dedicated team of associates, pool and spa care experts, and experienced service technicians of Leslie’s are passionate about empowering its consumers with knowledge, products and solutions, and making them enjoy the experience.
